We also collect Your Personal Information when you register, during the purchase process or otherwise, to receive informational updates, offers, and/or other notifications from uScore. As we collect Your Personal Information, we safeguard its privacy by using measures that are both customary and commercially reasonable. We use Your Personal Information to provide you with the products and/or services that you purchased from us and to provide you with the informational updates, offers, and other notifications that you registered, during the purchase process or otherwise, to receive. We also use Your Personal Information and that of all or some other visitors to generate statistics regarding the demographics of visitors and to help us understand (i) how visitors value our products and services and (ii) how visitors use the Site, in general, and specific pages of the Site, in particular. uScore is concerned with the security of Your Personal Information. This Site has been designed to include features that are intended to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of Your Personal Information. Such features include, but are not limited to, a secure network and database that are password protected and firewall secured, as appropriate. Furthermore, except as otherwise provided for herein, only authorized uScore employees have access to Your Personal Information and all employees are familiar with this Privacy Policy, the User Agreement, and uScore's general policies regarding the treatment of Your Personal Information.
In order to comply with COPPA regulations, as amended, students under the age of thirteen are not permitted to purchase uScore products or services, or otherwise register with uScore directly. uScore requires the parents/guardians of such students to complete purchases, or otherwise register, under their own names. The Site's online forms contain blocking mechanisms that are intended to prevent the collection of personally identifiable information from users under the age of thirteen who attempt to make purchases or otherwise register with uScore. Once the Site recognizes that a user is under the age of thirteen, it automatically rejects such purchase or registration.
